Literacy for AllEvery child deserves the opportunity to become a confident, capable reader, but too many students are reading below grade level. Chelsea has been a champion for science-based literacy instruction, and she has advocated for early screening for dyslexia, teacher training, and classroom-based supports for all students.

Mental Health AccessChelsea has long been a leader in mental health advocacy for students and families, working to remove stigma and expand access to care across San Mateo County. She continues to work on Countywide Mental Health Pathways Projects & consistently advocates for early interventions and crisis supports.
